Description

Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to fully meet all requirements of the Statement of Work, Construction Specifications, Construction Drawings and all other Contract Documents related to and/or titled: Repair POL Laboratory B606. The performed tasks shall be based on the project description, other data furnished in the Statement of Work (SOW), and information covered during the Pre-Construction (Pre-CON) meeting. The scope of work for the project is to replace existing cabinets, flooring, install additional HVAC ducting, and repair roof top unit Hot Gas Reheat (HGRH) dehumidification system in B606. A facility of adequate size and configuration is necessary to maintain a Type C++ laboratory rating. Principal features of the work are, but not limited to; demolish existing casework and VCT flooring, place new monolithic flooring to include cove base, install new metal casework, install new 50 CFM explosion proof exhaust fan above existing ceiling with ducting intake vent no more than 6 inches above lab floor. Service roof top unit HGRH to ensure operating temperature maintain 73° F +/- 5° F (23 +/- 2 ° C), 55° F (13° C) maximum dew point, and humidified if relative humidity drops below 30%. Apply (1) coat primer (2) coats of semi-gloss paint to match existing room color throughout entire room. This general outline of the principal features does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work required by the plans and statement of work.
