Explore Minnesota Tourism (Agency), intends to enter into an agreement with Datafy to provide access to Datafy’s Platinum Visitor Insights Dashboard (Solution).

The Agency requires the ability to (1) compare visitation and market share across U.S. states to compare Minnesota to other states and its progress on becoming a “Top 10 State,” (2) provide Minnesota destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and legislators tourism region and county-level insights regarding top origin markets, top points of interest, visitor demographics, visitation quantity and traveler spend, and (3) consider state-wide, tourism region and cross-region trends regarding top origin markets, top points of interest, visitor demographics, visitation quantity and traveler spend to enhance marketing efforts and other internal initiatives.

The Solution includes four years of historical data, set-up, monthly consumer spending (credit card) data, unlimited clusters with unlimited Points of Interest (POIs), interactive dashboard updated daily, dynamic event dashboard, data integration, unlimited support, and free live chat. The Solution uses proprietary, reliable mobile device-based geolocation data for all U.S. states (for visitor volume comparisons) that is not based on cookies, and uniquely integrates consumer spend/credit card data with the geolocation data to provide spend trends.

The Agency determined that the Solution is the only commercially reasonably commodity solution that currently meets the Agency’s business needs of providing data for all U.S. states, consumer spend (credit card) data, and county-level insights. This is deemed a single source purchase because the Solution is solely distributed and supported by Datafy and is not available from other third parties.
