The Minnesota Department of Transportation intends to purchase ARA/Vertek cones and rods to be used as part of an existing research system. Materials and Road Research (MRR) p rovides timely specialized expertise, testing, leadership, guidance and direction in geotechnical, materials, pavement and research engineering to improve performance and cost effectiveness. MRR provide tools to practice the most efficient pavement designs, maintenance and construction procedures, and provide technical training to its transportation partners .
