The Minnesota Department Natural Resources (DNR) is in need of a drum filter with a peripheral drive arrangement (drive chain around entire drum) with a lubricant-free non-metallic chain that reduces stress on the drum structure and minimizes maintenance costs, and a moving spray that cleans the filter cloth more efficiently while reducing water consumption are required for AIS filtration at New London Hatchery. Innovasea is the only vendor that has a drum filter with these features.

The DNR has determined that Innovasea is the only vendor that can provide this product and has deemed this a single source procurement.
