The Minnesota Department of Agriculture intends to purchase QIAcube Connect System with accessories and service.

The QIAcube Connect is a new instrument for the PSA lab and is a fully automated, spin column based nucleic acid extraction instrument that will be used with QIAGEN spin-column kits to extract DNA or RNA from samples submitted by the MDA Plant Protection Division’s plant disease surveys and regulatory programs.

Testing methods for select plant pathogens of national priority have had methods developed and validated by the USDA and require the usage of QIAGEN kits for DNA extraction. QIAGEN’s QIAcube Connect is the only fully automated instrument that can automate all QIAGEN column-based kits.

QIAGEN is the only supplier in North America for the QIAcuity and QIAcube instruments. QIAGEN, declares and has supplied documentation that QIAcuity and QIAcube instruments are exclusively manufactured and sold by QIAGEN. Additionally, the warranty may be voided if any service work is performed by any other supplier than QIAGEN.
