This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. Note this posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP).
The Minnesota Department of Corrections intends to purchase x2 (two) additional CAT simulators as well as update software on x3 (three) existing CAT simulators currently owned by the State of MN.
This renewal has been deemed a single source as Simformation is the only simulator product available for CAT Equipment. Caterpillar has selected Simformation as the Cat Simulator Licensee and under that licensing arrangement; they will develop and distribute Caterpillar branded simulator products. Additionally, Simformation is the only licensed company that can provide the software updates to the pre-existing simulator equipment.
