    Minnesota IT Services on behalf of Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) intend to renew for 1 year/12 months their agreement with IdeaCom Mid-America, Inc. for continued, uninterrupted software maintenance and support for MDVA staff. The software maintenance and support will include but is not limited to; R4k, Versus, Accutech, WaveWare, and Ascom.

    The IdeaCom software maintenance and support is a helpdesk and remote support for Nurse Call and Wander Prevention system used by MDVA at the veterans’ homes. This is currently installed at Minneapolis, Silver Bay, and Luverne locations. It covers software upgrades, annual recertification of equipment, troubleshooting and support, and remote adds and changes.

    IdeaCom Mid-America, Inc. are the sole developers of this software maintenance and support service and reserve all rights, including without limitation license rights for their products and services. No ownership or other rights are transferable, and all trademarks, logos, and services marks (collectively, “Trademarks”) contained in their products are owned and not available through third-party entities. For these reasons, the State believes this to be a single source renewal.
