Construction Administration Services - Owner's Project Representative

Brief Description: This project will involve project management responsibilities for the Owner’s Project Representative (OPR) for Construction Administration of the following projects:

1. Replacement of the Salt Shelter and construction of a new Brine Building at MnDOT’s Benson Truck Station. Estimated cost of $350,000 for the Salt Shelter and $400,000 for the Brine Building. It is anticipated that the construction of the Salt Shelter will start after the construction of the Brine Building has commenced as the delegated design for the Salt Shelter will need to be completed and approved prior to the start of construction for that facility.
2. Construction of a new Salt Shelter and Brine Building at MnDOT’s Forest Lake Truck Station. Estimated cost of $814,000 for the Salt Shelter and $400,000 for the Brine Building. The existing salt shed at Forest Lake has a cast in place foundation that will remain. Existing steel structure with fabric skin will be demolished as part of the new project. New salt shed will span over the existing foundation which remains in place for salt/sand containment. New bring building will include adjacent concrete slab on grade with containment for new tanks. It is anticipated that the construction of the Salt Shelter will start after the construction of the Brine Building has commenced as the delegated design for the Salt Shelter will need to be completed and approved prior to the start of construction for that facility.
3. Construction of a new Brine Building at MnDOT’s Bemidji Headquarters. Estimated cost of $400,000. New Brine Building will include adjacent concrete slab on grade with containment for new tanks.
4. Construction of a new Brine Building at MnDOT’s Carlton Truck Station. Estimated cost of $400,000. New Brine Building will include adjacent concrete slab on grade with containment for new tanks.
