Blatnik Preliminary Geotechnical Drilling

Brief Description: MnDOT requests responses for geotechnical drilling and testing for the Blatnik Bridge in Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. The work for this contract involves subsurface investigation work to be performed for a state project involving the reconstruction of the Blatnik Bridge (Trunk Highway 535 over St. Louis Bay/Lake Superior in Duluth/Superior). The work and services consist of taking foundation borings, obtaining undisturbed samples (both geotechnical and environmental), performing field tests, performing laboratory tests, and producing detailed boring logs. The goal of this project is to complete the geotechnical drilling and testing for the project.
