Nature of Work/Contract Title: SHIP Statewide Meeting Project Planning
Description of Work: The MDH Office of Statewide Health Improvement Initiatives will be hosting up to 300 local public health and other partners from across the state to convene for 2 ½ days from July 20-23, 2020 (exact days still TBD). The purpose of the gathering is to ground our partners in the new SHIP (Statewide Health Improvement Partnership) grant RFP, provide foundational skills and knowledge training, and create space for local and regional collaboration to draft workplans for their upcoming grant work. We are seeking a project manager (person or team) to develop an event agenda and manage preparatory and day-of logistics. The development of the agenda will be a collaborative effort, involving up to 8 people including Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and local public health staff. The desired event outcome is one where attendees feel welcomed and inspired to participate as their whole selves; are provided opportunities to grow in their understanding of equity, engagement, and collaborative practices; and contribute to collective systems planning for local, regional, and state level work related to SHIP. Interested vendors should contact Kristine Igo (email@example.com) to request a copy of the Quick Call.
