Detail is shown on detail 5/A600. Roof thimble is furnished with the generator. Exhaust piping shall be welded, black steel, schedule 40 and terminate at 10'-0" above the roof as noted on detail and on plans.

Sheet M107 indicates “EXTEND 3” G PIPING TO SERVE NEW GENERATOR. SEE 2/M107 FOR CONNECTION DETAIL”. Detail 2/M107 indicates the use of a Maxitrol 325-3 regulator which is a low capacity regulator and would not seem appropriate for this device. Please review the selection or provide inlet/outlet and flow capacity requirements for this regulator.

Specification for the generator 26 32 00 Section 2.03 includes a natural gas fuel regulator to be furnished with the engine. Pressure regulator can be omitted from detail, Contractor is responsible for all other piping connection work shown.

Attachment B-2 asks to list a roofing subcontractor. At the pre-bid meeting, it was noted that the roofing is still under warranty under Central Roofing. Do we need to still list a roofing contractor if this work needs to be completed by Central Roofing?
Also, Attachment B-2 asks to list a waterproofing subcontractor. Waterproofing does not appear to be included in the Scope of Work for this project. Please advise.

Detail 2 on sheet A600 shows the new size of the louver opening. Does the existing lintel run the full length of both openings? It also shows the new opening being approximately one (1) brick course wider than the left louver on that detail. Will a new lintel need to be provided? If so, can you provide a detail showing the size, flashing and connection details for the lintel?

There is an existing cast-in place concrete structural beam (indicated on detail 1/A600) that runs the full length of the wall. A new lintel is not required, the top of the new louver should be installed to the underside of the beam, similar to the existing condition. Provide metal drip edge, flashing and sealants as shown on the detail.
