The City of Bloomington is seeking applicants for the Thriving Communities Grant. This project is an opportunity to support community-led solutions through authentic collaboration and financial resources, using a racial equity lens. It is also an opportunity to build upon the City’s strong foundation of past SHIP-funded work to expand opportunities for active living, healthy eating, commercial tobacco-free air, and well-being in our community. We invite both individuals and organizations to submit proposals for projects and request funding between $15,000-$25,000.

There will be at least two information sessions to answer questions and walk applicants through the application process. The first information session will be a virtual meeting on Wednesday, October 26th at 5:00 pm via WebEx. The second information session will be in-person at the Oxboro library in Bloomington on Thursday, October 27th at 10:00 am. Applicants are welcome to attend one, both, or none.
