The City of Elk River is requesting bids for a qualified contractor to design-build a fiber extension of approximately 22,870 feet of new underground fiber with 3 conduits, approximately 1,873 feet of fiber in existing conduit, and approximately 12,596 feet of ariel fiber. The fiber will be 144 continuous single mode (sm) strands with slack loops at all 19 hand holes and consisting of overhead and underground routing. Complete digital contract bidding documents will be available at www.QuestCDN.com using project number 8667862. Note: Deduct Alternate with an option to deduct down to 96 strands. Proposals for the work will be received online through QuestCDN.com until 2:30 p.m. on September 25, 2023 October 2, 2023, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read online through a Microsoft Teams Meeting.
