Updated Deadline: Proposals are now due by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29. 2023.
The City of Elk River Fire Department is seeking proposals from professional services to conduct a community risk reduction and comprehensive transportation safety action plan. The City of Elk River was the recipient of U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) funding to assist in effectively identifying and addressing transportation and safety concerns and prepare them for potential implementation funding.
Elk River is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our residents and visitors, including renovating our transportation infrastructure to deliver safe, sustainable, equitable systems to meet the needs of our community now and into the future. This plan will use a risk-based approach to identify low-cost safety projects for specific at-risk segments, curves, intersections, and pedestrian crossings within the Elk River service area.
Proposals for the work will be received online through QuestCDN.com until 3:00 p.m. on September 29, 2023. Questions regarding this project must be submitted to ERFD Fire Chief, Mark Dickinson, before 3:00 p.m., August 25, 2023. You can reach him at 763.635.1105 or at
