This RFQ is issued by The County of Chisago, Environmental Services Department, Solid Waste and Household Hazardous Waste Division, 39649 Grand Avenue, North Branch MN 55056, phone: 651-213-8923.
The County is seeking to place a licensed solid waste/recycling hauler under contract to service the Chisago County Recycling Yard in North Branch. The successful Recycling Yard hauler will provide routine and as-needed service to the Recycling Yard by providing for proper materials collection and containment service, transport, and delivery of residentially generated single-sort recycling type materials. The selected hauler will supply containers, and haul collected recyclables to an authorized Materials Recovery Facility where these materials must be processed, marketed, and sold to recycling end markets. The hauler will provide routine report of materials handling volume, processing and will retain any recycle material proceeds that may be market generated in the process.
An Optional Addendum to the above-described service contract includes the collection of regular weekly/on demand mixed municipal solid waste that is generated internally by the existing Household Hazardous Waste Facility operations.
