The Department of Information Technology Services, partnering with the Minnesota Department of Revenue (DOR), intends to renew an agreement with Information Capture Solutions, LLC (ICS), for up to 12 months, to provide maintenance, support, and licensing for the DOR’s integrated data capture solutions. The DOR’s integrated data capture solutions includes components from ICS, EMC, D21, Captiva, and Tangent. ICS is providing the DOR an integrated solution for data capture and imaging of tax returns and other documents.

The DOR determined that this package offered by ICS is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product. The DOC deemed this to be a single source purchase because these products are highly integrated, and ICS is the only vendor that distributes and supports this amalgamation of linked products.
