Assisted by the Office of MNIT Services, DPS intends to renew an agreement with Agate Software, Inc. for up to 36 months to provide hosted software maintenance and support for the proprietary IntelliGrants/e-Grants system currently in use. This system provides comprehensive help desk support, software security upgrades and patches, minor system upgrades including documentation updates and bug fixes as part of the maintenance fee. The annual fee also includes a Sandbox Environment for training and testing of system functionality and workflows. Technical support includes telephone and email software support and software updates.

Because Agate Software, Inc. retains exclusive ownership rights and is solely responsible for providing the required support, maintenance, updates, and patches, this has been deemed a single source purchase by DPS. None of these required products/services can be provided through a 3rd party vendor.
