The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services, partnering with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (Agency), intends to renew an agreement with Porter Lee Corporation, LLC, for up t o 12 months to pro vide continued, uninterrupted software and support services of their Laboratory Information Management Systems referred to as LIMS (aka BEAST) which is used by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s Forensic Science Services.

Porter Lee developed and maintains all software and required services associated with LIMS, and retains exclusive ownership rights. Services provided by any other entity will result in the cancellation of the State’s current agreements and warranties. For these reasons, the State believes this to be a single source renewal and is not available through a third-party reseller.
