MNIT Services Central intends to enter into an Agreement with Century Link/Lumen to provide VIPER additional license bundle with support, for Roseville and Capital Security for MN State Patrol.
The system is mission critical in the sense that it supports the answering point to multiple locations for DPS MSP. Since implementation of this system CenturyLink/Lumenas been the only supplier able to provide upgrades, Licensing and Support for the Viper system.
This purchase has been deemed a single source. The State believes that this upgrade is a single source because no other provider or reseller exists for Viper upgrades.
