The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT), partnering with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), intends to renew an agreement with Conduent Public Health Solutions, Inc. for up to 36 months to provide software maintenance and support for the Minnesota Electronic Disease Surveillance System (MEDSS), powered by the application MAVEN.

MEDSS/MAVEN is proprietary. Thus, Conduent is the only vendor with access to the MAVEN source code and is the only vendor authorized to provide enhancements and upgrades to the software. This is deemed a single source purchase because MAVEN is solely supported by Conduent Public Health Solutions, Inc and is not available from other third parties.
