The Minnesota Department of Transportation (DOT) intends to renew an agreement with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for up to 12 months to provide service units for enhancements to the AASHTOWare Software Suite. This software system is used to bid, award, estimate, manage, and lead projects within the Transportation arena. The service units for enhancements will be made to the Civil Rights and Labor, Construction and Materials, Preconstruction, and Estimation modules.

DOT determined that AASHTOWare is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product to provide these services. This is deemed a single source purchase because AASHTOWare is solely distributed and supported by AASHTO and is not available from other third parties.
