The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) intends to renew an agreement with Housing & Development Services, Inc. for up to twelve (12) months to provide HDS mortgage software licensing, maintenance, and support.
MHFA determined that HDS’ tool is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product for its mortgage services. This is deemed a single source purchase because HDS originally developed this software in close collaboration with MHFA, specifically to meet the agency’s needs. HDS’ tool is solely distributed and supported by Housing & Development Services and is not available from other third parties.
