The Emergency Preparedness Response (EPR) Office of the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to purchase multiple training systems, kits, and materials from Pedi-Ed-Trics Emergency Medical Solutions, Inc. Training materials include child-sized manikins, reusable moulage pieces for triage training, real life pediatric disaster scenarios, prewritten triage training cards, and user access codes for online training. EPR staff need effective hands-on training for pediatric disaster responses to better serve the children of Minnesota.

MDH has determined that Pedi-Ed-Trics Emergency Medical Solutions, Inc., sells the only commercially reasonably available commodity products to provide the necessary hands-on training. MDH has deemed this to be a single source purchase because the necessary training materials are solely distributed and supported by Pedi-Ed-Trics Emergency Medical Solutions, Inc., and are not available from other third parties.
