The Minnesota Department of Education intends to proceed with registration for seven staff to attend the 2024 NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON STUDENT ASSESSMENT. This is a unique national conference hosted by the Council of Chief State School Officers. This is professional development and ensuring best practices in large scale student assessment are maintained by Minnesota. For each search result, a rationale is included describing how the CCSSO collaboratives differ from the search results. In summary, the search results yielded CCSSO NCSA in the second result and the majority of the rest of the results are references to the importance of collaboration within professional development or toolkits for local school district staff. Because of the results of various sets of searches and the attached research into it, the lack of other results in this area besides CCSSO shows that they are considered the single supplier of this type of collaboration-based, long-term, professional development in assessment and instruction for state education agency staff.
