The Minnesota Department of Health (Agency), intends to enter into an agreement with Thermo Electron North America LLC, for up to 12 months to provide service for a Thermo ID-X STD and associated Vanquish UPLC.

The Agency determined that service for Thermo ID-X STD and associated Vanquish UPLC provided by Thermo Electron North America LLC is the only commercially reasonably available service provider that meets the Agency’s business needs. This is deemed a single source purchase because Thermo ID-X STD and associated Vanquish UPLC is solely distributed and supported by Thermo Electron North America LLC and is not available from other third parties.
