This is a notification of a single source purchase ONLY, there will be no bid documents associated with this posting. It is the intention of the Department of Natural Resources to purchase the communication services for existing (already deployed) expandable deer fawn collars. These collars were purchased through Vetronics and the software/communication services to utilize the data associated with these collars is proprietary and can only be used on said collars. The collars are expandable GPS radio collars used on free-ranging white-tailed deer fawns. The fawns are captured within hours or days of being born, and then the collar expands as they grow, so that we can track them to 18 months of age.
