The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) intends to renew an agreement with Trancite Software for up to 12 months to provide an updated version of Easy Street Draw, a crash diagramming application used by MNCrash application users. The current version of Easy Street Draw is no longer supported by Trancite.
DPS determined that Easy Street Draw is the only commercially reasonably available commodity product. This is deemed a single source purchase because Easy Street Draw is solely distributed and supported by Trancite and is not available from other third parties. This tool has been available within the MNCrash application since its inception in 2016, and Easy Street Draw has been tightly integrated with the MNCrash Website and Desktop Application in a way that other applications cannot replicate off the shelf. Another crash diagramming application could not reasonably be integrated into the MNCrash application.
