PROJECT INFORMATION: Stearns County, Minnesota, is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select a qualified Construction Manager with specific experience in the planning, estimating, and construction management of Jail, Sheriff’s Office, and Courts Facilities. The Construction Manager shall cooperate with the County’s contracted Architect throughout the project. The Project may include the construction of the Sheriff’s Office, Jail, County Emergency Management, Courts, and supporting functions. The Construction Manager will assist the AE firm when providing two (2) schematic design options. During the schematic design phase, the sites may be reduced to one (1) at any time.

PRE-SOQ IN-PERSON/VIRTUAL CONFERENCE: The County will conduct a non-mandatory pre-SOQ meeting with interested vendors at 10:00 AM, CT, Thursday, September 28, 2023, in Room 499, of the Administration Building 705 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, MN. To attend this meeting virtually, email Procurement@stearnscountymn.gov for the invitation to a MS TEAMS meeting not later than 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The purpose will be to review the RFQ and to answer questions about any aspects of the RFQ or of the project and services in general. Following the meeting, a tour of the downtown campus will be offered to those attending. Although attendance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
