Title: DNR Collar Refurbishing - Sole Source Notification
Response to this solicitation is due no later than: 11/1/23 at 10:00am
This is a posting of sole source notification only, there are no bid documents associated with this posting. It is the intention of the Department of Natural Resources (herinafter DNR) to refurbish ten (10) Telonics TGW-4577 collars (6 for bear and 4 for wolves) with the company that has the proprietary rights, Telonics, as there is no other company that will refurbish these collars. They are the only units out there that have been completely robust to water intrusion and corrosion. These units are what we already have deployed on bears and wolves and they are compatibility with our current software and it is imperative to have consistency in our research methods for statistical validity.
