The State of Minnesota, Lands and Minerals Division at the Dept. of Natural Resource (DNR) intends to purchase service to Process submitted soil samples to isolate a few ounces of mineral grains from a 25lb sample. Identify and characterize mineral grains that may be indicators of potential mineral deposits (i.e. gold, diamonds, copper, nickel, platinum group metals) on state-managed mineral interests. Provide a laboratory report that contains raw data, which is then interpreted by DNR geologists.
The proposed supplier (ODM) is the industry pioneer and global leader in the indicator mineral processing method. They are the only laboratory in the world (to our knowledge) that offers them for the full range of potential mineral deposits on state lands in Minnesota. Their work product is considered within the mining and mineral exploration industry to be not only reliable, but definitive.
