Minnesota Information Technology Services (MNIT), on behalf of the Department of Revenue (DOR), intends to renew an agreement with LexisNexis Risk Solutions for up to twenty-four (24) months. The agreement is to provide maintenance and support for Bankers Almanac EPICWare, which is used by MDOR to review, convert, and verify bank routing and transit information.

As LexisNexis Risk Solutions serves as the official registrar of the Routing Number System for the American Bankers Association, it is the sole vendor that assigns and retires routing numbers to every financial institution in the United States. Additionally, the vendor is the sole developer and retains the exclusive ownership rights, title, and interest to all LexisNexis products and services, including Bankers Almanac EPICWare. Such maintenance and support services are not available from any other entity and must be purchased directly from vendor. For these reasons, this renewal has been deemed a single source by MNIT.
