    The Minnesota State Patrol (“MSP”), a division of the Department of Public Safety, is requesting proposals from Responders for the delivery of a specialized training program focused on the topic of courthouse violence and tactics for successfully managing and mitigating the associated risks posed by violent encounters in these settings. Attendees will include sworn and non-sworn incumbents from MSP’s Capitol Security/Executive Protection unit. Desired outcomes for attendees of the course include the acquisition of detailed insight into the potential for courthouse and courtroom violence, the specific responsibilities of courthouse law enforcement and security personnel, as well as the application of critical information and techniques that can address and manage safety in the context of violent encounters.
