Learning Lab CT Software Renewal for DOC Education – zSpace Learning Lab

Minnesota IT Services on behalf of Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) intends to enter into a 12-month (1 Year) agreement with zSpace, Inc. for continued, uninterrupted educational training for the DOC juvenile student education program.

This agreement provides software licensing and support with educational content related to zSpace’s Learning Lab, which includes but not limited to: Virtual Automotive Expert and Mechanic and MIMBUS Wave NG Welding Application w/BASIC VULCAN Welding Management System Access. This is a hands-on virtual learning system that provides needed security. The applications run on a system that does not require internet access, which is necessary for the education program. This contract is for up to a 12-month term.

zSpace Inc. is the sole source developer and provider of proprietary zSpace Virtual Reality Education Solution products and reserve all rights, including without limitation license rights for their products and services. No ownership or other rights are transferable, and all trademarks, logos, and services marks (collectively, “Trademarks”) contained in their products are owned and not available through third-party entities. For these reasons, the State believes this to be a single source renewal.
