The Minnesota Department of Human Services, MNsure, intends to enter into an agreement with Caspio, Inc., for up to 24 months to provide Caspio Bridge, a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
Caspio Bridge meets MNsure’s business need for HIPAA-secure applications that can integrate with Tridion for embedded web-accessible forms and can be supported by MNIT@DHS. MNsure utilizes Caspio Bridge as part of its operations in several ways, including in the Consumer Assistance Directories on its website, an enrollment look-up tool, in applications to submit life events in a secure manner, and to allow consumers a platform to securely submit eligibility documents for verification. Caspio Bridge is the foundation of MNsure’s assister Agency Management Program (AMP) and Broker Agency Management Program (BAMP). These custom-built portals allow internal and external access to support contracting, certification, assister directory, and other critical consumer assistance program functions. For navigators who have completed requirements, Caspio’s Certified for Insulin Program Assistance status enables consumers to find help through the online Assister Directory.
MNsure has determined that Caspio Bridge is the only commercial off-the-shelf product on the market that meets the State’s needs, and that it is not available from third parties.
