Preliminary and Final Design of Roundabout at TH 57 and CSAH 16 Intersection in Dodge County

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for Preliminary and Detail Design for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Minnesota Trunk Highway (TH) 57 and County State-Aid Highway (CSAH) 16 in Dodge County, Minnesota. The roundabout project will be let under SP 2007-47. TH 57 is a major collector highway between US Highway 52 and US Highway 14 in southeastern Minnesota. Its intersection with CSAH 16 has a sustained history of severity crashes and has previously been identified as a priority rural intersection by MnDOT. Construction of a roundabout at this intersection will improve traffic safety in the corridor and enhance connectivity in the region. The goal of this project is to provide 100 percent complete construction plan for the project.
