Spill Response Project Management Assistance

Brief Description: The purpose of this work is to provide MnDOT’s Office of Environmental Stewardship (OES) with on-call support of highway spill response cleanup project management. The support will include reviewing and managing the OES Spill Response Email Inbox, communicating with MnDOT District staff, sending Spill Notification Letters to responsible parties, working closely with responsible parties and their consultants, and reviewing cleanup work plans and reports to make certain highway spills in the right of way are cleaned up according to MnDOT’s procedures and requirements. Work will be primarily conducted out of Selected Responder’s home office, with occasional visits to MnDOT’s Central Office and Greater Minnesota for meetings and/or to provide training. Responders who are currently on the State of Minnesota list for Emergency Response are considered a conflict of interest and therefore not eligible to apply. Responders who have completed spill cleanups in the past are able to respond to this posting. The Responder awarded this contract will not be able to perform cleanups on MnDOT right of way on behalf of a responsible party. This applies only to MnDOT’s state highway and the interstate system.
