Blatnik Bridge Preliminary Design Peer Review

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for an independent peer review for preliminary design of the tied arch and cable stay main span alternatives for the new Blatnik Bridge, which will carry I-535 over the St. Louis River at the twin ports of Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. The goal of this project is to independently verify the feasibility and adequacy of the design criteria and preliminary design for the tied arch and cable stay superstructure alternatives.
