Construct Roundabout at the US 71 and TH 210 Intersection

Brief Description: MnDOT requests responses for roundabout design development, preliminary and final geometric layout, and final design of the roundabout at the US 71 and TH 210 intersection in Hewitt. The project area has several existing constraints including bridges over the Wing River on both US 71 and TH 210, the skew angle of the intersection, the Wing River, and minimizing impacts to adjacent private property. With the proximity of the bridges to the intersection, coordination with MnDOT Bridge Office is anticipated. The goal of the project is to develop a roundabout design that will improve safety and mobility while minimizing impacts to the existing bridges on both US 71 and TH 210, the Wing River, and private property.
