Federal Discretionary Grant Application

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for a contractor to prepare individual grant applications for the projects selected by the State. The scope of the work will include contract administration, project management and the coordination and preparation of individual applications. The Contractor will also make themselves available to assist in answering questions received regarding the application up to and including award. This often involves turning around information on short notice and coordinating with stakeholders that have extremely busy schedules. The Contractor should allow for this in selecting personnel, this will be their priority when requests come through. This Letter of Interest will be a multi-award contract for Federal Discretionary Grant funds for the Metro district. MnDOT anticipates that selected responders (up to four) will be awarded one contract per firm. The contracts may span multiple years. It will be MnDOT’s decision on how these projects will be divided amongst the contractors. The goal of this project is to develop and submit applications for each (up to 12) grant applications.
