I-94 Corridor Study in Moorhead

Brief Description: MnDOT requests letters of interest for a corridor study on I-94 in Moorhead from the Red River Bridge (North Dakota and Minnesota border) to MN 336. The purpose of this corridor study is to complete and assessment of the Interstate (I-94) and purpose alternatives for a future reconstruction project (State Project [SP] 1480-182). The study will help determine near and long-term improvements. MnDOT is planning to complete a reconstruction project in 2031 from the Red River Bridge to TH 336 (near the municipal airport) and the intent of this Corridor Study Document is to provide guidance to the State for future improvements. As part of this study process, multi-model traffic forecasting, concept layouts and typical sections, along with preliminary cost will be developed.
