Interstate 90 and 35 Interchange Improvement Scoping and Preliminary Design

Brief description: MnDOT requests responses for a need identified for the Interstate 90 Bridges over Interstate 35 calling for replacements under State Project (SP) 2482-83. To appropriately program money for the project, scoping is necessary to be performed including traffic evaluations of the existing Interchange. The proposed project scoping is occurring earlier than typical to ensure appropriate funding can be allocated. Due to existing workload and staffing the work is not able to be performed with agency staff and it is necessary to seek a consultant contract for the work. The goal of this project is to complete both the scoping report and preliminary design tasks to meet project delivery currently programed for 2030.
