Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Design Assistance

Brief description: The goal of this project is to produce up to 15 SRTS design assistance reports, incorporating additional investigation, crash data, and best practices while building on the planning documents that were previously completed. These studies will not only prioritize infrastructure safety improvements to promote walking and bicycling to school among children but will also equip recipients with needed knowledge and tools for future project implementation, whether through grant applications or independent funding.
