DHS is seeking to prevent or end homelessness for people with serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorder, to increase housing and support availability.
DHS, through its Behavioral Health Division, is seeking to provide Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) outreach services, and Housing with Supports for Adults with Serious Mental Illness (HSASMI) grant program housing services, or co-occurring Serious Mental Illness and substance use disorder who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, have complex needs, and face high barriers to obtaining and maintaining housing.
PATH – Term January 1, 2024, until June 30, 2025, for up to 18 months. Funding of $4,792,000 for SFY 2024, and $6,178,000 annually for SFY 2025-2026
HSASMI – Term July 1, 2024, until June 30, 2026, for 24 months. Funding of $2,250,450 annually
