DHS to expand and provide Parents as Teachers to families to prevent children from entering out-of-home placement and support implementation of Minnesota’s Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) Prevention Plan
DHS, through its Child Safety and Permanency Division, is seeking to implement and expand the evidence-based service, Parents as Teachers (PAT), to support the goals of Minnesota’s Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) Five-year Prevention Plan which is aimed at preventing children from entering foster care.
The term of any resulting contract is anticipated to be from May 20, 2024 until September 30, 2025. STATE may extend the contract up to a total of five (5) years.
