Design Services for interior renovation of the courtroom spaces in the Walter F Mondale Hall, located on the west bank of the Twin Cities campus . Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements.

Question
The February BOR mtg was mentioned as a time for SD review. When do you expect BOR materials to be ready in prep for this meeting?
Answer Agenda materials will be submitted in December to be considered for the February BOR meeting. The materials needed are not very detailed and will be provided by UMN PM. Schematic design will need to be completed prior to the BOR meeting.

Question
Please clarify the specific responsibilities and deliverables that are expected of the design team regarding Audio Visual, low voltage cabling etc.
Answer The A/V equipment will be specified by a separate vendor who specializes in this type of space. The design team shall be responsible for coordination of the equipment connections with the vendor as well as UMN Stakeholders. The design team will provide full design of all electrical and low voltage cabling and connections for the specified equipment.
